AutoCalc Individual Tax Form

Overview

The Auto Calculate Form 37 is a MS Excel spreadsheet that automatically calculates your tax return. Please be advised that once this form is complete, it has to be printed and mailed to the address included in the Guidelines page.

Download Instructions
  • Click on the hyperlink 'Auto Calculate Form 37' to open the form.
  • The 'Auto Calculate Form 37' has been compressed to a self extracting zip file which allows you to extract the file by simply running it.
  • Please note - you do not need an unzip program like WinZip, just follow the steps listed below to download the file.
  • A text box 'File Download' like the one shown below pops up asking you what you would like to do with this file?
  • Select 'Save this program to disk' and click on OK.
  • A text box 'Save As' like the one shown below opens up and you can select the location where you want the file saved.
  • A text box 'Download complete' shown below gives you three different options Open, Open Folder, and Close.
  • If you wish to open and save the form click on either Open or Open folder.
  • If you select 'Open Folder' it takes you to a screen like the one shown below. Click on the 'Auto Calculate Form 37.exe' and follow the steps for the 'Open' option.
  • If you select 'Open' or if you click on the 'Auto Calculate Form 37.exe' from above you get a 'WinZip Self-Extractor' box like the one shown below. The 'Unzip to folder' shows the default location 'C: My Documents'.
  • You can also choose to save the form on a location in your computer by clicking on 'Browse' and specifying the location where you want the file saved.
  • Click on 'Unzip' and you will see a WinZip Self-Extractor box shown below with the message the file has been unzipped successfully to the specified folder in MS Excel.
  • Click on OK and close the 'WinZip Self-Extractor' box. See instructions below on how to start the saved form in MS Excel.
How To Start The Form
  • Click on the MS Excel icon on your desktop or click on Start and select Programs/MS Excel to open the application.
  • Once you are in MS Excel click on the file menu and select 'Open' which takes you to a selection of all the saved files on your computer as shown below.
  • Select the file 'My Documents' or the specified file where you have saved the 'Auto Calculate Form 37' and double click to open it.
  • When you open the 'Auto Calculate Form 37' the first time you will get this security warning window from the Internet Explorer as shown below:

  • Click on 'Run', next you will get the security warning window about this Auto Calculate Spreadsheet containing macros by Regional Income Tax Agency as shown below. Check the 'Always trust macros from this source' box.

Completing The Form
  • Please refer to the Guidelines page on how to complete the form.
  • All required information has to be entered as instructed in the Guidelines page.
  • Position the hand pointer inside a form field and click. The I-beam pointer allows you to type text/numbers.
  • Press Tab to accept the field change and go to the next field.
  • Press Shift + Tab to accept the field change and go to the previous field.
  • There are formulas in place already which will calculate your tax return automatically.
Printing The Completed Form
  • Select the 'Print' icon on the tool bar and click on it to print the form.
  • Another way to print is to click on the File menu and then select 'Print'.
